Matt McCarty Wins The Pinnacle Bank Championship Presented By Woodhouse

The Pinnacle Bank Championship presented by Woodhouse finished on Sunday, August 11th with Scottsdale, Ariz. native Matt McCarty as the victor. McCarty shot a combined 14 under throughout the event, shooting 4 under three days in a row.  

With this win, McCarty earned his second win of the season, which moved him into the No. 1 position on the Korn Ferry Tour’s points list. 

“That No.1 spot, it’s a good opportunity for me to push towards that. To be able to get [the win] done was good. It’s all growth,” said McCarty. 

Danny Walker finished in second place after going into Sunday with a three-shot lead, ending 13 under in the tournament. Walker’s final round ended 1-over, just enough for McCarty to end the week with a new trophy for his collection.
