April 30, 2024
The Pinnacle Bank Championship presented by Woodhouse held the seventh annual Cards for Charity event that raised $40,000 for Nebraska charities. The PGA REACH Foundation and Vita Nova both received funding from the event. The PGA REACH Foundation received $30,000; while Vita Nova received $10,000. The Cards for Charity event is hosted by the Pinnacle Bank Championship’s ambassador group, The 15th Club.
Vita Nova provides resources and programs to serve women in crisis in the community. Their residential maternity program in Papillion focuses on implementing solutions that work for vulnerable pregnant women and families within the community.
The PGA REACH Foundation is a non-profit committed to positively impacting the lives of Nebraskans with a focus on youth, veterans and inclusion, making sure the game of golf is accessible to all. This donation will help continue that work.
“We are beyond thrilled to be the beneficiary of the Cards for Charity event! PGA REACH Nebraska impacted over 37,000 people last year through the game of golf. Our impact is growing rapidly as we continue our mission to positively impact people’s lives through the game of golf. This gift couldn’t have come at a better time as we look to shape, change, and even save the lives of thousands of youth, military, and diverse populations through the game of golf right here in the Nebraska Section PGA,” said Seth Scollard, Assistant Executive Director at the Nebraska section of PGA REACH.
“We were thrilled with the contributions from our 15th Club members and members of the Omaha community. Even more, we are so happy to be supporting great charities like The PGA REACH Foundation and Vita Nova. They do great work in our community and we couldn’t be more excited that we were able to support them,” said Pinnacle Bank Championship Tournament Director, Jessica Brabec.
