Volunteer Committees

Tournament Week: August 4th-11th, 2025

  • Admissions: Issue daily tickets, scan tickets at main entrance gates. Responsible for handling wristband stations as guests come through the main gate as well as checking ID for distributing 21+ wristbands. Thursday-Sunday
  • Check-In/Out: Make sure that volunteers sign-in/and get to their chairpersons to report for work in Volunteer Headquarters. Thursday-Sunday
  • Corporate Relations: Assist corporate sponsors and tournament staff in the hospitality areas. Assist in monitoring admittance to hospitality areas by checking guests’ tickets and wristbands, ensuring the space is welcoming and comfortable, answering questions, and monitoring food and beverage areas are well kept. Must be 21 or older. Thursday-Sunday
  • Ecology: Assisting in the recycling of cardboard from the tournament. Thursday-Sunday
  • Marshals: Responsible for crowd management including noise control, managing crosswalks/high traffic areas while ensuring proper golf etiquette is practiced among spectators. Additional responsibilities include assisting players by spotting and locating balls and assuring players safety as they move across crosswalks or high traffic areas such as when they make the turn and when they finish their round. Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods of time and walk to and from your assigned spot on course.  Thursday-Sunday
  • Operation Services: Set-up, tear-down of the tournament which includes all signage, trash (during tournament), carts, meshing, etc. Tear-down assistance of the tournament which includes removing everything that was brought in for event. Must be 16 or older. Sunday, August 3rd – Sunday, August 10th
  • Player Shuttles: Assists in transporting players and caddies to the next tee after the bend. Thursday-Sunday
  • Pre-Tournament Help:  Assist in setting up leaderboards (18 years +), setting up chairs/tables in Volunteer HQ, setting meshing on fences. Sunday, August 4th (5 hours)
  • Pro-Am: Duties include planning and execution of Pro-Am tournaments and Pro-Am parties, distribution of Pro-Am gift packs. Including marshaling, player check-in and assisting on the driving range. Some areas of this is considered a “physical” position. Sunday, Monday and Wednesday
  • Product Distribution: Responsible for distributing ice and beverages to all Hospitality Areas, Concession Stands, Player Dining and Volunteer Headquarters. This is considered a “physical” position, and you must be 21 or older. Must be able to bend, stand, walk, carry and lift 25+ pounds as well as endure the heat/weather. Wednesday-Sunday
  • Standard Bearers: Carry a standard (8lbs) that has players names and is responsible for changing the player’s score as needed throughout play. This is considered a “physical” position, as you will carry a sign for an entire round of golf (approximately 5 hours). We recommend that you should be in good physical health when volunteering as a standard bearer. Thursday-Sunday
  • Start/Finishing Areas/Driving Range: Starting Tent Volunteers spend most of their day on the driving range maintaining snack and refreshments and assist in crowd control; Finishing Tent personnel assist in verifying the players scorecards and collecting caddie bibs and tracking systems per the PGA TOUR.  Monday-Sunday
  • Tear-down: Tear-down of the tournament which includes all signage, trash, fence, rope and stake, carts, meshing, etc. Sunday after play, Monday, August 12.
  • Volunteer Assistance: Volunteers that are on course to assist other volunteers as needed. Make rounds to on-course volunteers to support them by bringing beverages and snacks. Thursday-Sunday
  • Volunteer Headquarters: Responsible for operation of Volunteer Headquarters during tournament week. Includes set-up, clean-up, and maintain a clean organized volunteer headquarters. Thursday-Sunday
  • Walking Scorers: Walking Scorer must be available to work an entire round and walk an entire 18 holes (about 5 hours) carrying a Samsung G5 hand-held device & wearing a voice radio with his/her assigned pairings. A thorough knowledge of golf is necessary for this position as scoring includes recording statistics on the data device. Scorers will be utilized on Wednesday of Tournament Week for the official Pro-Am. Must be 18 or older. Wednesday-Sunday
  • Youth Day: Committee handles checking in participants for Youth Day activities, which includes the RSM Putting Challenge, as well as other yard games and fun activities. Saturday
  • Leaderboards: Committee handles setting up and tearing down the 5 scoreboards on course. This is a physical position and will require individuals to be in good health, and able to lift 50lbs. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Set-up is on Sunday, August 3rd at 8am and Tear-down is on Monday, August 11th at 8am, rain or shine. * To register for this committee, please email katiecolwell@thepinnaclebankchampionship.com expressing your interest in Leaderboards.
